Dylan Pearson - JNR Games Programmer, from gameplay logic to visual effects.

I'm a games programmer who completed a Level 3 Games Design qualification, with hands-on experience in Unreal Engine and Unity. I like getting into the rewire logics of systens whether its scripting, shaders, or everything that makes a scene feel alive. Now looking for my first role in the industry.

GTA modding — script integration & debugging

2022–2024

Joined existing community modding projects to resolve script conflicts and errors. Integrated multiple third-party Lua scripts into cohesive, functional mod packages by reading unfamiliar codebases and debugging within established systems.

I completed a Level 3 Games Design qualification with a focus on programming, working across both Unreal Engine and Unity. I enjoy the mix of technical and creative work that games demand, from scripting gameplay logic to shading, texturing, and particle effects.

Some of my strongest practical experience has come from community modding work, where I've had to read unfamiliar codebases, debug conflicts between scripts, and get things actually working, skills I'm keen to bring into a professional games development environment.
